I have this guitar. It is a f*%king beast. Amazing guitar for gigs, and there's nothing it can't handle. Every time I think that I paid too much for it and should sell it, I pick it up and it reminds me of why I bought it in the first place.

I bought a used Player P Bass in 2020. At the time they listed @ $699.00 but you could buy them at $649.00 or less. I snagged a buttercream/maple neck 2018 for $325.00 after calling several of my professional Bass Guitar comrades and asking what they thought of the "new" standard series and they all said the same thing; "if you don't buy it I will". These are journeyman bass players who still have their 1st P Basses that they bought in the 60's and all said they'd gig with it and leave their treasures at home. There it is !

"It's small". Really? It's huge! Not mentioned in this review: 1. Bridge tends to slide around if bending strings. 2. Neck access is terrible after 15th fret as neck to body joint is huge. 3. Terrible feedback at any decent stage volume. I owned one but hated it. Sold it.
